Our Research Interests

Disease patterns
We study the natural history of a wide range of diseases to better understand who is most affected, which factors increase the risk of illness and how conditions develop and change over a person’s lifetime.

Safety of Medicines
We use very large databases of electronic health records to gain knew knowledge about the risks and benefits of medicines.

Risk Prediction Tools
We develop novel risk prediction tools which are used across the NHS to identify patients at increased of major health conditions such as heart disease and cancer. They help shared decision-making between patients and clinicians.
